3 Podcasts I'm listening to, and you should be too…

  1. “Super Soul Conversations”:  This is just a no brainer, I mean, everyone loves Oprah, and if you are a podcast listener, then you’re most likely already subscribed. Oprah interviews authors, actors, politicians, religious leaders, and everything in between.  What got me hooked: There is something for everyone; most of the conversations have the same message, yet each interviewee communicates in a way that resonates with different people. We all want love, peace, and a sense of  fulfillment from serving a greater purpose. “Everybody has a story. And there is something to be learned from every experience.” -Oprah Winfrey

  2. “Elevation with Steven Furtick”: I’ve been watching Elevation Worship Service and Pastor Furtick’s sermons for a while now. Because I enjoy watching his sermons so much, the podcast was a natural subscription for me. Why I’m hooked: Steven Furtick has the ability to breakdown bible verses and communicate them in a way that is not only effective for daily life but unparalleled for such a diverse age range.  The podcast cuts straight to the point, preaching the message, giving an uplifting word, and hitting the spiritual reset button, one listen, and I’m good for the day.

  3. “How I Built This” with Guy Raz: Innovators, entrepreneurs, idealists and the ideas they built. What got me hooked: The conversation with Eileen Fisher, the founder of the self named clothing line Eileen Fisher and how her vision to create  simple clothes, that take the time and guess work out of getting ready in the morning, took her from interior designer to multi-million dollar business owner.  I’m inspired by the the dozens of stories from the the people who simply never gave up.  Often we let the failures of others decide our paths in life, but this podcast is a reminder that we all have the power to write our own story.

    Honorable Mentions:

    - “Fohr Ground”: If you are interested in Fashion, photography , and lifestyle this is a podcast you will love.

    - “Rants and Randomness with Luvvie Ajayi”: Luvvie Ajayi is also the creator of the blog Awesomely Luuvie and author of the book “I'm Judging You: The Do-Better Manual”.  Her, “I say the thing everyone is thinking” personality is relatable on some level for everyone.
